Question adding imap support to php


i'm trying to set up a webmail application for my site and i am having difficulty setting up my imap module. manuals say that i must install a c-client and i don;t know what it is.. please post your answers.. it will be of great help. thanks

The UW (University of Washington) c-client library is an API that makes building email clients and servers easier. It is used by several different applications, most notably imapd and pine from UW. More information can be found at the UW imap page.
