Add OS and Hd and cant get 2nd OS to boot

So here is my situation........

I have Slackware 9.1 installed on /dev/hda just fine. For 2 of my classes I need to run Windows so I added a 2nd Hard drive as /dev/hdb. I disconnected the primary HD and installed Windows on the 2nd Hard drive. The windows install works just fine. I am having trouble getting lilo to boot Windows. I use dropline gnome so I used the GUI config tool and set up windows to boot off /dev/hdb. When I try it on boot it just says "Loading Windows...." and hangs. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

In my experience lilo is not as good as Grub. If you can choose Grub, give it a go.

i've read a few times that xp installs itself on the first partition of the first hd on the system(including mbr), so perhaps there's a mixup there-don't know if you could just switch hds and make xp /hda and then patch up lilo or grub, but i think then you might need a boot partition on /hda for the linux on /hdb and i don't know what else may need changes. hope this helps tho it's not much.
