425 Security: Bad IP connecting

I installed Vsftpd and Apache on the Fedora server. The IP is dynamic but I use DyDNS.
I can access the Web server with no problems. But when I try to get to VSFTPD thorugh Mozilla Firebird (ftp@user5@mydomain.com) it give me the error:
425 Security: Bad IP connecting

First it ask mr for password , when I enter the password it gives me the error above. However, ftp works from another box (windows) and I connect ftp through shell.

Any ideas why I get the error message?

I have seen this before.

I bet you are piercing some type of firewall to an internal ip addressing scheme, right?

The IP address that is being sent back to mozilla is the internal or private IP address instead of the public IP.

If your router supports it, you may have to open the router to allow some type of port for port pass through.

what is the router brand?

I use LinkSYS router BEFSR41.

Also, I have 2 computers behind the router. From Windows machine I can access with no problems. Problems occur only on Linux box

Question

That's exactly what I am talking about or I have misunderstood.

Clarify some things.

Are you penetrating a firewall/nat when you are having connectivity problems?

This leads me to believe you are.
