Know what i can do to fix this? 2.2.18 works just fine... During the 2.4.2 configuration i put "Yes" to everything to do with ppp. Iv tried all modules too but... With all modules it gives me error 4 . Can someone point me in the right direction? I get Invalid argument during nfs service lockd to (svc).. wtf?

2.4.* bring different pppd architecture.
read /Documentation/Changes in you kernel source directory and (as far as I remember you will neeed to download a new pppd rpm ) find anything concerning ppp. That should help you out
