Question xmris for Mandriva (Mr Do type game)

I have installed this game "xmris" on Mandriva 2007.0 and it appears to install without problems (certainly it does not mention any problems). However, it does not get entered on the menus that I can find. And when I type
xmris
in a console I get an unfinished game area (only one coloured square and no functionality) and I have to kill it to free up the console. The console in the meantime displays
/var/lib/games/xmris/xmris.lock: No such file or directory
/var/lib/games/xmris/xmris.lock: No such file or directory
/var/lib/games/xmris/xmris.lock: No such file or directory
/var/lib/games/xmris/xmris.lock: No such file or directory
/var/lib/games/xmris/xmris.score: No such file or directory

Has anyone else had this problem - or am I the only one with a friend who wants to play this game.
