WOW install issues

Hi, I am trying to install wow onto my computer (Slack-current), and I am getting an error when I try to run the initial "installe.exe". It says that there is no installer data. I put all the info from the discs onto my HDD first, and I can't find anything online that mentions anyone with this problem. I'm sure I left some vital info out. Thanks!

One vital piece of info is that .exe executable files do NOT run in Linux, unless you're installing in an emulator of some sort.

Ah! Okee-dokee... nevermind. You'd be amazed to know how many new Linux users post "I can't get such-and-such.exe to run in Ubuntu (or whatever distro). I should have noticed that you're running Slack. You're definitely NOT a newbie. Sadly, I don't know diddly about WINE, so we'll just have to wait for someone with expertise in that area to answer your post.

Best of luck!

Well, the problem is that My cd drive reads the "Installer Tome.mpq" as "Installe.mpq" so the program cannot find it.

What you need to do to fix this is to edit the kernel.
Under File Systems -> CD/DVD Filesystems, enable everything
