Cedega game install (WoW)

I am having a problem installing WoW for some reason. I was able to install City of Heroes last night, but WoW freezes at the initial install screens. I keep getting this message:

tid 1556 received signal 11. Raising signal 3

Anyone have any ideas?

Well I've been doing some digging for you...

Try this first..
http://transgaming.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1325

Then try to install it again...It'd also help if you posted your computer specs. CPU, Video card, Distro and kernel, yada yada...

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get the installer to stop freezing by running cedega as superuser. Now I am getting an error similar to the link you provided me. Great link by the way. I was on disk 2 of the install when it happened. I restarted the install, but if it happens again I will follow your link. Below are my specs:

Athlon XP 1.4 GHz
GeForce 5200 128 MB
512 MB RAM
Slackware 10.1

Ah I found some more vitial information about your install.. You need the transgaming mozilla plugin to get the install to advance. I think you already have that though.. But take a look at this link

I have already installed the mozilla control package. I believe my error has to do with the information in your first post. Unfortunately, Slackware does not have the files present for me to make the changes. Not sure what to do. I made it almost all the way through the install before I got the error too.

oh one more thing, I didn't see this in your system specs.

I'm curious, are you using onboard video?

Installed and running beautifully. I was getting that memory error on install, but it went through the second time. Been playing ever since. Looks great too.

Theres a lot of known issues with the minimap. You might want to check the www.transgaming.com/forums/ in the WoW section for other fixes.

But yeah it does run good....some people just have more problems getting things going than others
