Wine and DIablo 2, odd error

I found very little on this error and need a fix or a forum that may know the answer. Here is the screen dump

[root@localhost Diablo~1]# nice -5 wine game
err:aspi:SCSI_GetProcinfo Could not open /proc/scsi/scsi

My Diablo 2 LOD install is on my NTFS volume so i just went to that directory to run it, the CD was in the cdrom. I do not have SCSI in the kernel, did not see a need since nothing in my laptop is scsi anyway. Not sure why it is a scsi error.

I think what may be the problem, is that u are running it in the ntfs partition, because ntfs is read-only.
Try copying all the files into your ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Diablo\ II folder
be sure to add write access to the save folder
And then, before running it, be sure to cd into that folder and then run wine
If that doesn't work, look at : http://www.latte.ca/D2LOD/
It worked great for me, even though i did it a bit differently: instead of using that start package thing, I just copied the files from my windows partition, but then i still used the regestry entries from the latte.ca/d2lod site.

Everything works pretty nice, but i still have a couple problems. look at my post here (some quirks are quite comical):

oh, btw: make sure u are using a crack, and you copy the d2music.mpq and all that other stuff into the folder so you can run without the cd. wine can't do copy protection stuff.
What really worked for me, is that i installed it into windows, added the crack and patch, and made sure it worked there without the cd's
Then, i copyed those files into linux, and added the regestry entries and followed the other directions on the latte.ca site.
Hopefully that should work for you
