Unable to save state in E-UAE (Fedora 7)

Hi.
I just discovered that I cant save state in my Amiga-emulation games in E-UAE. The keys that should activate the load/save window for saving state (even quick save / load option) do not work. All other keyboard commands, eg. inserting/ejecting of floppy images work flawlessly. Can this be a bug or am I missing something? Since the load/save state option isn't avaiable in E-UAE gui, I'm really trapped here and dependant of these keyboard shortcuts that for some reason don't work - thus make it impossible for me to save the state. I use the latest version. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
