Steam lagging

I just installed the latest version of cedega on my slackware 10.2 box running kernel version 2.6.15.2. Counter-Strike runs VERY slow. I had the same system setup a few days ago and the game ran fine. But now after I reinstalled everything, I can't play DRI works, and im pretty sure everything is setup fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

Same graphics drivers? I would assume a problem with your drivers.

Are you 100% sure that the graphics drivers are working properly? Also if you're using X.org (as opposed to Xfree86) what version? I used Cedega to play CS extremely well on 6.8.2, upgraded to Xorg 7 RC2 and it was hopeless. I downgraded and stuck with what worked. The other day I upgraded again to see if the issue was fixed with either the newer nvidia drivers or Xorg (whichever was the problem) and it works fine, in fact better now

Ok, well it seems to be my graphics driver. Enemy-Territory insnt working too well either. I remember that I had to apply a patch for the fglrx driver. Could anyone link me to that patch? I used it before, but I sadly didnt back it up.

So you are using fglrx? I thought you were using an Intel graphics adapter (as you sig suggests). Search the Rage3D forums for any patches for the patches, they're usually released there first.

I fixed the problem. I had to add this line into my fstab:
Code:
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
