openGL Lagging

Howdy,

I recently installed the Fireflies Screensaver, which uses openGL, and it's running very slowly (framerates down to ~4FPS) But I have a GeForce4Ti with 128MB of memory on the card, in addition to a AMD64 3200+ Processor with 1GB of RAM. Any tips on how to get my screensaver to perform better?

In order to get proper 3d support you need to install the official Nvidia linux driver from thier webpage.

You can check if it's already installed by running the command glxinfo in a terminal. If it says direct rendering: No somewhere in the list you need to install the official driver.
