Quake3

Hi there,

I´ve noticed something strange when I wanted to install one
of my old Quake 3 arena games.

The mouse doesnt respond in the game, it works fine in Xorg
and everywhere else...just not in the game.

Whats wrong?

Look in /home/you/.q3a/baseq3/q3config.cfg
seta in_mouse "1"

It´s already there it seems.

No workie...

I had this problem when I updated my kernel with RedHat or any other distrobution. I figured out that the 1.32 point release of q3 had problems with the mouse. So I downloaded the 1.32b release. Go to linux-gamers.net and go to downloads - Installers, or go to ftp.idsoftware.com and search through the quake3 directory for the installer. I recommend the former for the installer as ftp.idsoftware.com limits the amount of users that use their ftp site at any one time.
