play quake 2 kenel 2.6.3

Hi
1) where can I download the linux patch for quake 2.
2) do quake 2 accepet alsa sound ?

You may download it from www.icculus.org/quake2

And if you compiled ALSA with OSS emulation layer, you are OK.

EDIT: You will need to the Pak files in the CD for it to play. And ALSA support (native ALSA) is in CVS I think.
