Digimon Battle Will not open with WINE

I downloaded the game from http://digimonbattle.wemade.net/main/main.asp and it downloaded fine, but now the .exe file will not open; even when I right-click and pick: Open with "Wine Windows Program Loader".

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is the game just not going to work with linux?

Am using Unbuntu.

Try to launch the exe-file from a command-line. In some cases the cwd is required to be the directory where the exe-file resides:
Code:
cd /path/to/exe
wine yourprogram.exe
If it still does not work, post the output of wine here.

This is what I got.

Code:
lah@lah-desktop:~$ wine DigimonBattleDownloader.exe
wine: could not load L"C:\\windows\\system32\\DigimonBattleDownloader.exe": Module not found
lah@lah-desktop:~$ err:menubuilder:WinMain unknown option -a
err:menubuilder:WinMain unknown option -r
Also, the file is on my Desktop, if that helps any.

The desktop folder is ~/Desktop. You have to change to the directory before starting wine:
Code:
cd
find -name "Digimon*"
cd ~/Desktop
wine DigimonBattleDownloader.exe
You get the error above, because the exe-file is not in the home folder, but in the Desktop folder. Try again and post the output of the commands.

The windows exception code c0000005 means general protection fault. Are you using the latest version of wine? If so, try to run the program in winedbg to show more details about the error.

Well... It says I am... But when I type in winedbg I get:
Code:
lah@lah-desktop:~$ winedbg
Wine-dbg>err:menubuilder:WinMain unknown option -a
err:menubuilder:WinMain unknown option -r
and then when I type in "wine DigimonBattleDownloader.exe" I get:
Code:
wine DigimonBattleDownloader.exe
No process loaded, cannot execute 'wine DigimonBattleDownloader.exe'

You have to call winedbg as you started the exe-file before by replacing wine with winedbg
