No, you subscribe, it costs $5/month. If you want to download Cedega once, you must pay at least $15 and you'll get 3 months free updates (if you pay $15).

You pay and get the right to download new releases.
You can download a free version lacking some components: winecvs.linux-gamers.net (choose cvscedega_head as a profile then)

hello every1!!
no this is what i have to ask that i have inserted the CD which is a linux based game .
And CD cover is also filled up with instructions to installation of CS2 but the same situation is occurred after using that instructions .
need help thanks....

good day!!! i'm installing cs1.5 on my redhat 9. i finished unpacking wine and when i install it from cd this is what i got.

[root@localhost root]# winex /mnt/cdrom/Setup.exe

i didn't install glext.h yet,
wat sems to be the problem is it X or opengl????

The problem is missing 3D drivers or 3D support. How to enable it, depends on the graphic card you have.

gud day!!!
again i was given this display, i hav an nvidia geforce4 mx4000 with 128mb and an intel 845 chipset with asrock p4i45gv motherboard.
i'm working with counter strike for almost 5 days, with 4 hourts of sleep.

wine /mnt/cdrom/Setup.exe
_X11TransSocketOpen: socket() failed for local
_X11TransSocketOpenCOTSClient: Unable to open socket for local
_X11TransOpen: transport open failed for local/localhost.localdomain:0
x11drv: Can't open display: :0.0
Please ensure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.


any help specifically???

i still have this error

#winex Setup.exe
