Third: I'm using SUSE 9.2 AMD64 with cedega to play my favorite game: Battlfield 1942 ... runs great ... but ...

When I want to play online, game does not find server ... I'm behind firewall and router ... In windows everything works fine ... Under SUSE I can browse internet, run copete with Messanger and ICQ accounts, connect to ftp servers. Also I have installed CrossOver Office and Internet Exlorer and that works too ... tried to put original windows dll for direct play and put what was needed into cedegas config file and nothing. Q3 works fine in LAN. Situation is same when SUSE FireWall is shut down. BF1942 works in LAN too. On other Forums I red that BF1942 can be played online but how???

You should just do a reinstall, sounds to big of a problem to try and fix. If you copied this over from a windows partition, just reinstall it using Cedega/WineX.

Did that several times reinstalled cedega and bf1942 and still nothing ... my cedega doesnot see network under SUSE9.2 or something ... how can i test does programs that run under cedega can access network (LAN or internet)?
