Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat, display problems in mutliplayer

I have installed Battlefield 1942 and Desert Combat via Cedega. Both run passably well, in single player mode. However, whenever I connect to an online game problems begin. The screen turn green/pink/light blue, whatever. I can still see the game, but not very easily. Sometimes the picture rolls. When I disconnect form the mutli-player game, everything returns to normal. I am running Mandrake 10 with a GeForce3 video card. Any suggestions? I'm hoping there are just some settings I need to change.
