ATI Drivers, again...

Ok, I can't figure out how to get the ATi drivers to work. I followed the guide from linux-gamers
http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/...p?articleid=22
but I can't get it to work. Currently I have MESA installed and 3d acceleration works, but my games crash after about a minute of playing and freeze my computer and I have to hard boot...

Even some of the visualization plugins for XMMS do this...

I'm running Mandrake 10 and yes, I have the Kernel sources installed.

Anyway, here's the output from dmesg

[root@localhost root]# dmesg
Linux version 2.6.3-7mdk (nplanel@n3.mandrakesoft.com) (gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)) #1 Wed Mar 17 15:56:42 CET 2004

FATAL: Error inserting fglrx (/lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/kernel/drivers/char/drm/fglrx.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
I get that... Either way I try to install.

Lucky for me I backed up XF86Config-4...
