Asus a8ve-se stops booting on hlt command

I have 2 identical asus boards. One works perfectly, the other only boots dos. Does not matter the distribution, light version or full version or live disk. I flashed the bios and went over all the bios settings. I can not figure it out. Is there a cpu/motherboard diagnostic program to find out the issue?

What CPUs do these motherboards have installed? Are both the exact same? Did you try booting your 12.1 or 13.1 installation media too?
