Talking anyone know where to get the third person perspective mod for quake2 for linux?


im looking for a port of the third person perspective mod for quake2. i found a file already, but its a windoze dll. anyone know where to get a .so or anything like that?

I don't think there is a 3rd person perspective for Quake 2 for linux. I know there are alot of companies who make modules/addons for many windows games (ie the addons for Half Life), but Quake 2 is long since been supported. You can't even get support from any company who has supported Quake 2 in the past. So, I very much doubt it. I think the only way for you to get that DLL file to work, is to download Quake 2 for windows, and run it through WineX. Last I checked, Quake 2 works very well under WineX.
