ram disk

Hello,

I had build a LFS 6.0, with some additional software, like links and centericq.
I used the official method to make a liveCD with my LFS, no problem. But when I run centericq in my live and I try to do something, he says me:

free disk space is less than 10k, going offline

Well, my question is how to increase the size of my ramdisk? Anyone can tell me how to centericq don't say my anything?

Thanks.

Hi,

as far as I know about ramdisks, they're managed internally in the linux kernel, so in my opinion you must recompile your kernel and increase ramdisk size from there, but if there's another option... I don't know it...

hope this helps,

Julio

hello again,

thanks a lot Julio, I searched i my kernel menuconfig, and I only can found this:
<*>RAM disk support
(16) Default number of RAM disks
(4096) Default RAM disk size (kbytes)[*] Initial RAM disk (initrd) support
there are t'he options of ram disk, i had chenged the value 4096 to 4196, 100kb more, I had recompiled the kernel and remaked my live but the problem doesn't change, I think that the correct option to change i "Default RAM disk size (kbytes)" and that 100kb are enough, but my problem persist.
If anyone have another idea, pleas tell me!!!! I don't know how to do!!

Thanks a lot
