prob with dd command in chap 8.4

we were on section 8.4 of lfs
we first formatted our floppy with the following command

mke2fs /dev/hd0

then we ran the commands

dd if=/boot/grub/stage1 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 count=1
output:- "1 +0 records in"
"1+0 records out" and after running the seconf command
dd if=/boot/grub/stage2 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 seek=1
output was:-"195+0 records in"
"195+0 records out"
Atfer thatwhen we tried to mount our floppy to check it's contents it
said

specify the file system.plz help us with this

what entry do u have for ur floppy in ur fstab file

try making the FS there as "auto"

in our fstab file we have the following entry

filesystem mountpoint type options dump fsckorder

/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0
