Made a mistake mounting hdd's

Sorry to bother you again but...

Well, in the guide for resuming work after a break, it only mentions mounting the LFS /, and, you know, in the morning when the brain is not yet fueld by caffeine it's kinda easy to forget that you also want to mount different partitions for /usr and /home.

I'm not sure I did this yesterday, but when only mounting LFS / there's alot of stuff in the /usr directory, so I suppose it was not mounted to a different partition when I did alot of the work.

Question is, how do I get the stuff where I want it? Plus, when doing the first pass of Binutils /usr was mounted to /dev/hdb1 (where I want it) - does this matter(ie does Binutils write anything to /usr)?

Man, I should really not deal with computers...

Well ... Maybe you can try to just copy everything from your /usr directory to the partition you want to use ... Mount your partiton in another directory (let's say /tmpusr) and try "cp -rpd /usr/* /tmpusr" ... Then, double check the simlinks ...

No garantee at all that it will work :s ...

Good luck !
