syntex error


I m using RHEL.

i want to know how many http processes are running onmy system..so i run this command and gets an error..where is the system prob ???:


[root@fruits procps-3.2.3]# ps -aux|grep -i HTTP|wc -l
Warning: bad syntax, perhaps a bogus '-'? See /usr/share/doc/procps-3.2.3/FAQ 21


I have some documentation regarding checking and preventing DDOS attacks. Below is the link. If any have commands/docs to check if our system is under DDOS attack, please do tell me .

What is your linux distro?
