Question Problem About Error

Friends ,

I am in some problem in my DNS Linux box (Redhat Enterprise Linux 4). Yesterday
I have configured here a "BWM_tools(Bandwidth Management Tools) ' For a particular
Network . After that I get the following Error In My Linux Pc :

"Kernel Panic-not syncing:net/ipv4/tcp_ipv4.c:1790:spin_lock(net/core/sock.c:dd1060a0)
already locked by net/ipv4/tcp_ipv4.c/1790 "

I think it is a "kernel Panic " Problem . But when i restart the PC firstime then it can Boot Properly...but after some time it shows this error with "Keyboard Light Blinking"

Here i also mention that IPTOOLS is also configured in my pc.Plz help me........

A guess: I believe that you have two network applications that a trying to control the TCP/IP network access at the same time, but one of them (probably the BMW tools) is not respecting the lock set by the other application. (The "kernel panic" is, I think, because two applications are trying to claim exclusive control over the same resource -- the TCP/IP protocol -- during the boot process, a real "no-no.")

Suggestion 1: Try uninstalling the BMW tools package, or (if you need the functionality provided by the package) the other newtwork management package you're using.

Suggestion 2: This sounds like a network problem, so you might ask the moderator to move this thread to the network forum.
