Cent Os 5.1 Qmail error


Hi,

The connection to the server has failed. Account: abc@xxx.com, Server: '202.177.0.1, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Care to give some more details??? That is, if you really want help here.

what happens when you telnet 202.177.0.1 25 from your mail server?
Paste command and output here please

Either this host (202.177.0.1) has no smtp server listening on port 25 or local outgoing connections to remote port 25 is blocked.

I agree you need more details in this for us to offer any support.

On a side note Qmail is IMO the worst MTA since it hasn't been supported or updated in 12 years. I would highly recommend Postfix as your default MTA.
