Hello everyone,
I have purchase Raspberry Pi model "B". in the box i have only Card and Board.
So i want to power ON the board. how can i Display in laptop with HDMI Port
I have purchased HDMI-HDMI Cable for that because in my laptop HDMI port and also in RPi board have HDMI Port. I have connected to it but no Display occur.
So how can i look the content after Power ON ?
I have also viewed the youtube video with the Ethernet LAN (Putty and Xming). but it wants Raspberry Pi "IP Address". but there is don't have display so how can i find IP address. and also found another way Router website to find IP address but still i can't found IP address
Please help me anyone knows about Display in Laptop OR IP finding IP Address in other way ??....
-------------------------------------------
I am very interesting to learn Embedded System on that
so for that i want to Build Toolchain and FileSystem and Uboot for ARM (Rpi) how can i create toolchain, UBoot, Filesystem ??

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.
No, I would assume the laptop HDMI port is output only.
Does the card actually have an OS installed on it? If the Pi is actually booting up you should be able to see an IP address assigned on the router or you can scan your network via nmap. In addition, if ssh or a remote desktop application is not configured to start at boot you will still need to connect the Pi to a TV first.

raspberrypi.org has documentation for stuff, and links to live linux images that you can run on the device. Many pi distros have ssh enabled by default so you can ethernet to the device in the absence of a display to view it's output.
The pi polls dhcp to get it's IP address so if you have access to the dhcp server, you can get it's IP from that. You can also modify the files on the image to set things up before you boot it on a pi. Most configurations are text files and platform agnostic, i.e. data on a disk or card.

The HDMI on your laptop is likely an output only. You should get a monitor with HDMI capability of some form of converter to get output from HDMI into a stand-alone monitor.
Just powering on a Pi may get you nothing, you need to burn an SD card with an image to run anything. Not sure if the Pi running with absolutely no card at all would even get you even a bootloader.
