Sorry about that. Written in haste.
I've been wrestling with this for hours now. In the first instance I worked out that I wasn't connected to the internet. The berryboot is connected via wifi which works with the other distros I have in the system (ubuntu and centaurus) but for some reason when I boot into Parrot there is no internet. So I connected to the internet via ethernet. Confirmed. But it made no difference. This is what I am getting;
Code:
sudo apt install parrot-kde
I get
unable to locate package Likewise I get this for gnome, xfce as well. If I do:
I get some readout but this is the main thing (I hope)
the repository is not signed
Likewise if I do
sudo parrot-upgradeI get the same (ie repo not signed)
I'm sorry that I can't post the complete output. If its essential it would have to be a photo but I don't think I can post that.
I didn't really expect this to be so difficult. Making it worse is that there was a version of parrot with GUI that the dev on teh site has now taken down. Would have made life a lot easier.
I hope that this helps and gets me to a solution. I thank you for any help you give. And remember I'm a total newbie to this.
