CoffeeMonster,

Watch your language or you can lose your privileges to this site. Review the rules you agreed to when registering. If you can't say nice things, then don't post at all. And we don't tolerate any personal attacks on any level. Got a problem with our rules, then take them up with the owner and admin who created them. This site is a privilege to use, not a right!

Mepis. Everything works even my nvidia card.

Least fave. Gentoo. Takes 45 minutes to install a browser and then it dosn't work - no thanks. Emerge can take a lot of lessons from apt-get.

Actually, I would say that I, along with ANY other member of this website has a right to object when people break the rules. If you would like to know exactly what I said, it went like this:

(quoted your comment)

"I suggest you watch your mouth because that kind of language is not toleratred on this site."

That's okay though, your incredibly negative attitude towards everyone gives me the impression that you will be banned soon enough. This is a help forum, not a flame forum. Sure, we occasionally joke around with the Microsoft flaming and the like; but personal attacks are never funny or acceptable... Good day.

CoffeeMonster we do not tolerate attacks on other members at LQ. To quote another mod, "posting here is a privilege not a right" and one which could be removed. Do not call other members names. There are other boards if you just want to randomly flame members.

TwiztedTom, apologies, I am closing this thread. There have been some good posts here and some useful advice. Definitely try out a few distros and pick whichever one suits you best.
