Hey guys whats up. I am new to linux and I am trying to figure out whats the easist distribution with a new commer to linux. I would like your thoughts and ideas about your favorite linux distribution.
Think about the reality of that question. If one was the best, it would be the only or primary one available. If you had even tried to google for the answer to that question, or search these forums, it would be as obvious to you as it is everyone else that everybody considers his own favorite to be the very very best.
Look over the "Major Distros" tab at distrowatch.com, pick one that looks intersesting and start asking real questions.
This is the distro I use and recommend, Why because it works right out of the box. No need to configure Everything, everything just works. It also comes as a 1 CD install that is a live CD that you can install later if you wish.
