whats the best distro that will work on a laptop?


I tired to install Redhat on my 1GHz laptop and it won't even boot the display goes all crazy when GRUB Loads... does anyone know any distro that will work. The video card that I have in the laptop is a Nivida Geforce 2 Go 16MB but the display goes all funky plz help......
