the time of the server hang


My RH server is hang this morning , I am not sure what time is server is hang ( may be last night or this morning ), how can I know the exectly time is server is hang ? thx

You mean its "hung" up? Unless you have some kind of monitoring tools your only guess is when it stopped logging logs.. /var/log/messages will probably give you some clues..

lol,
Date stamp? If you do a hard reboot of the server.. its going to write to the messages file and other log files, updating that time stamp..

no excuse -- that can work on other files, but not this one.

I have those days myself all the time where the stupid hat is on and won't come off..
