SuSE???

Not sure whether this is off topic, but does anyone know any details about when the next version of SuSE (9.0) is going to be released - or any details about its wireless LAN support?

Will Centrinos work with it out of the box?

Cheers,

Sku.

WLAN must be compiled into the kernel or set as a module. It is not, by default

Moved: More suitable in Distribution forum.

Why do people insist on asking when a next release is coming on particular software? In probably 99% of the cases, unless someone works for the company or develop the software, no one knows until its been announced officially...

Regards.

Good question.

And anyway, who says that the next version is going to be SuSE 9? I would think that SuSE 9 is a little way away yet, though being wrong is a pastime of mine
