ATI(fglrx) +suse 9.1 & supplementary drivers from Suse

I know that the subject has came through here many times yet I havent still found solution to my problem.
I'v tryed to install ATI drivers for a long time (card is Ati Radeon 9600 PRO) yes still I haven't managed to do it, so I went for Suse supplementary drivers that were suggsted in couple of forums. The thing still doesent
work! So finally I have come here I'v followed the manulas through and through .. the module loads(lsmod gives fglrx with usage of 0!) jet is not used!!!! ... perhaps someone finds a fault in my actions.

ok first of all the drivers that I'm talking about are at :

The system configuration is:
Suse 9.1 personal
kernel 2.6.5-7.111 (running kernel and the source are the same!!!)
gcc 3.3.3-41
make 3.80-184

ok all should be correct jet i'm still unable to install either Suse provided drivers or ATI provided drivers!

ok all is perfect from manuals point of view.. yet still I'm unable to use my card properly!

All thanks in advance for all hints possible...
