Question New RH 8 Install

I downloaded the image of RH 8 disk 1, and burned it to a CD. I boot to the CD, and get the 'install screen' telling me to hit enter for a graphical install or 'linux text' for text. I hit enter, and I get 'loading vmlinuz....' for about 1 hour, then I get messages like, 'cound not find ramdisk image: initrd.img' and 'Cound not find kernel: vmlinuz'. Any suggestions?? I'm trying to install on a SCSI that I low-level formatted.

Usually, the problem is with the CD--either the download was corrupted or it didn't burn properly.

To check for a good download, follow the md5sum procedures that are listed on the download site.

People encounter burning problems can usually burn at a slower speed and solve the problem.

Why are you only using 1 disk? The download for Red Hat is 3. Every installation I've done needed something from all three.
