torp Member Registered: Nov 2000 Location: Denmark Distribution: Slackware, FreeBSD, Solaris10, Suse Posts: 34 Rep:	I have just testet the new beta of Mandrake 8.0 and it runs realy great. They have done alot about the look and feel of the desktop plus support for Logitech museman + with scrollwheel. I have only had one problem with it, it is not very keen on my ide cd-writer.. I made a new kernel with scsi emulation, which works ok in the 7.1 which i used before, it can find the writer as scd0 but when I want to write a cd it cant find any scsi device... But besides that it works realy ok. So it seems that we have something to look forward to Torp
