Mandrake 10.1 Beta 1


Mandrake 10.1. Beta 1 has been released according to www.distrowatch.com

They have mirrors listed there. It uses kernel 2.6.8 rc2 and has some other updated stuff as well.

Just a note I am sure you all already knew but I have nothing else to do so I am posting this

I tried this out right away. It is very smooth, much better than the old days (last Christmas?) when the 10.0 cooker snapshot came out and it was really just a shell of what was to come.

The install and look is almost identical to 10.0 (except the big 'test' behind the logo). No developer picture in a pink heart or anything.

Very nice, thanks to those who contributed.
