Knoppix Phlak do not see non-booted linux
I want to access an ext3 Ubuntu Linux volume using either Phlak or Knoppix. When booting into either of those live cd's the hard drive is not seen.
"fdisk -l" displayed my drive as Disk /dev/hdc: 300.0GB. I created a mount point /home/knoppix/ubuntu and at the command prompt " mount -t ext3 -o rw /dev/hdc /home/knoppix/ubuntu. The message output stated that mount:/dev/hdc already mounted or /home/knoppix/ubuntu busy.
I also created an entry for /dev/hdc in /etc/fstab. Neither live distro Knoppix 4.0 or Phlak 3.0 recognizes my non-booted linux system but from past experience does recognize fat32 and Ntfs.
Help appreciated. It would really be benifical to use Phlak on a mounted Ubuntu system.
