KDE Neon & KDE 6 - anyone try it yet, and did it WORK?
So, upgraded my laptop (Inspiron 7415 2-in-1, Ryzen 7 5700U, 32GB, 1TB, AMD RZ616) to the latest KDE neon to try out KDE 6 tonight. Wow, huge failure. I can't logout anymore, can't reboot from the GUI, I can't read USB devices anymore, with 32GB ram and a 1TB NVMe SSD it still takes >30 seconds to load the desktop. Not impressive.
Decided to reinstall, the live USB of Neon w/ KDE 6 won't even boot TO the desktop to be able to start a reinstall the first 5 times I booted from it!!! Gotta say, I'm amazed at how bad it is. I know KDE has had some poor .0 releases in their past, but given how long they've been working on this, I was expecting at least BASIC FUNCTIONALITY...but not even that.
So is there anyone who's managed to try out the latest update and have it work yet?

I was able to install okay in a VM....
No way to disable compositing that I can find. No krita or kolourpaint. Two text editors (kate and kwrite). Not much especially interesting about it, just normal plasma on ubuntu, but now requires 3D acceleration.
"Log out" doesn't work.

OK, so you've seen more or less the same. After reinstalling I can use USB devices again, but no logout/shutdown/reboot from the GUI. Also no krunner, so have to launch from the menu, can't just use that. Definitely...functionally lacking with even the most basic things at the moment. I really feel like I'm using KDE 1 again with how much of a modern desktop functionality is gone.

Looks nice, but now uses more memory (of course), and takes way(land) to long to bootup. Failure!
