Eth0 up, has ip address, but cant connect to anything!
I'm running fedora core 1 and i have a d-link pcmcia nic. when i boot the computer i dont get any errors. under ifconfig the card shows up and has a correct IP. When i look at my router dhcp list the computer is there.
It just worked under core 2T2 but other things were unstable so i came back to core1.
what would cause such a thing? ... also if i deactive it and try to reactivate the card it wont.
thank you,
matt

update
Ok, i got it to work but i have to rip it out and plug it in when running to get it to work. i assume this is a problem with the boot sequence, happens with 2 different brands of nic. how do i fix this so i dont have to pull it out?
Many Thanks,
Matt
