Distro suggestion to replace NT 4.0 PDC & BDC

I'm looking for a distro that's aimed at replacing an NT 4.0 Primary Domain Controller and/or Backup Domain controller. I lnow that Samba has this functionality but I'm looking for a small distro that is easily to install without all of the extras.

It should have support for server style hardware (RAID, SATA, etc).

Anyone heard of a distro like this?
