Best KDE

Hey guys the question is simple: which distro has the best KDE integration/support/features?

support means you will buy the disto, so redhat, suse, or mandrake.

All in all, when you've selected the packages from the install CD, they will likely be the same except for distro specific tools

for KDE. . . I'd say SuSE.

KDE is the same on all distrobutions, some will supply their own theme to make it look like it's integrated with their OS but it's usually all the same.

If you're really intent on using KDE, then definitely go with SuSE.

suse's KDE looks the best. No doubt, but you can put KDE on pretty much any distro, so find one you like and put KDE on it.

If you like vanilla KDE, you can install Slackware. Slackware doesn't change anything and KDE looks the way that the KDE developers intended.

If you're not looking for a development system, i.e. you want a desktop, I'd go with Mepis. Has the most for KDE straight out of the box., e.g. good hardware detection, plugins, decent multimedia, networking with Windows support, etc.

Put me down as another Mepis advocate.

Give it a try as Live-CD first, to see what you think about it.
