Xfe file association?

How do I set file association in Xfe to be the same as those in Files?

A bit of a background, I just installed Ubuntu 20.04, whose default file manager is Files 3.36.3. But, I really prefer the user interface of Xfe. So, I installed Xfe and everything works well, until I need to start opening different types of files (e.g., pdf, mp4, etc.). I notice that in Files, the software to open these files are automatically recognized, and even better, I can also choose a different software to open them. However, in Xfe, the file association is not automatic, and even when I tried to do "Open With", there's no option for available software.

I've tried looking in Google on how to resolve this issues, but I can't seem to find a solution for this.

Any suggestion on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi!
If you click on file with right button on file and you select Properties, you can establish file associations.
Now i can't say you more with precision because i have the software in italian.
