Xfce window decorations looks like gnome 3 after gnome3 removal

Hello,
I have recently installed gnome3 on top of unity, and I did not like it. I have removed the main packages (gnome, gnome-shell, gnome-flashback) please note I may have missed some that I removed, I have not double checked. But after I removed those I decided to install xubuntu-desktop on top of unity, which, I know, is a bad idea. I have installed xfce before and I did not like it, but i have decided to give it another chance. So when I logged into xfce it used my settings from my previous installation, except for the window decorations. They didn't look like normal gnome3, but instead they looked like gnome3 fallback mode(I think that's what it's called), also I can not move the windows around. All of this happened after I went into my terminal ( in xfce ) and typed compiz --replace. Anyone know if there is some packages I missed when uninstalling gnome3, which would have triggered this, and yes I know I missed some, but if there is something else that I need to do instead, then I'll try that. Thanks in advance

Go into your xfce settings and go to "sessions and startup" click on the tab that says "Session", then click the button that says "Clear saved sessions." Also, make sure you remove Compiz, and execute:

xfwm4 --replace
