Setting up a Network Printer in Mint 10

I just set up my first Linux desktop and now I have to try to figure out how to do all of the things I do in Windows (like it is second nature). So, how do I set up access to a network printer from my Mint 10 desktop? It is a Brother MFC network printer (uses a network connection and has its own network address). Thanks

If you are using Gnome (the Mint default desktop), open the Gnome Control Center and go to Hardware-->Printing. Select Server-->New-->Network and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, you could open a browser and go to http://localhost:631 and open the local CUPS interface (the Control Center Printing applet is a front end for CUPS).

For more information about your printer, you can go to the open printing database and select your printer.
