resize and create partitions


hi, I need to resize a FAT32 partition, create an EXT3 and resize other EXT3, can I do all that from linux? I donīt want to use partition magic from windows, can you give me the name of some software?

2. the application that works in KDE works in Gnome?

GParted and QTParted are both good. GParted comes on a bootable CD, QTPArted is on the Knoppix live cD, and can also be installed directly. It is in the repositories for a lot of distros.

Any app will work with Gnome or KDE if you install the right libraries. The package manager takes care of this.

i installed QTParted, but somehow i can't resize the partitions i want to resize... or is there a way to do so anyway ?

It seems to be the primary partitions i can't resize.

Could somebody tell me a way to resize the primary partitions please?
