Remapped keybindings in openbox

Hey guys,

I just installed Arch linux to see if it really lives up to its reputation. So far so good, but there's one quirk i can't get past at the moment. I installed Arch on a IBM thinkpad (T60p) which has those "IBM" extra keys just above right arrow and left arrow.

I wrote a ~/.Xmodmap to map those keys to XF86Prev and XF86Next symbols. I added xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap to .xinitrc, restarted X and xev shows the keys are now producing those symbols. So far so good!

I'm now trying to map these keys in openbox to switch virtual desktops because that is something I am very used to, but it's not working out. In my rc.xml for openbox i have:

<keybind key="XF86Prev">
<action name="DesktopLeft">
<dialog>no</dialog>
<wrap>no</wrap>
</action>
</keybind>

<keybind key="XF86Next">
<action name="DesktopRight">
<dialog>no</dialog>
<wrap>no</wrap>
</action>
</keybind>

But openbox does not respond to these keybindings. Any ideas how I can achieve what I'm after, or whether I messed up something along the way?
Thanks for any help and suggestions!
