Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Gnome - Middle mouse is paste. Can it be remapped?

I'd rather have the middle mouse function like windows (autoscrolling) except it acts like paste. Is there any way to stop it mapping paste to the middle mouse button?

I'd like to know too. Is there a way to enable scrolling whith a middle mouse button click (like windows does)?
Maybe this is related to Xorg?
