Open Office writer/web issues

Hi,
I'm brand new at this and new with linux too. I am "attempting" to design a web page in Open office Write/ Web but find my version does not have vertical lines capability. Although the help section says I have it, I do not. I am also having a problem with drag and drop issues with graphics. Can anyone help please??

Welcome to LQ!

Although this doesn't really answer your question, may I suggest a couple of programs that were designed to create web pages? OO can create web pages, but that doesn't mean it is good at it.

Nvu - good if you are new to HTML

Bluefish - Good if you are familiar with HTML

Quanta Plus a pretty complete web development tool
