no sound on youtube and similar sites...

I have 2 fedora boxes that i use to browse the web. Both of them have FireFox and adobe flash installed but for some reason i cannot hear any sound when videos from youtube are playing. I have all the normal desktop sounds, MP3s work and local videos work too (i use VLC)

Any suggestions of what i can check?

Check for an alsa-oss package, and install it, if it's not already installed. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgd.../name/alsa-oss

yum install alsa-oss

OK i did that and rebooted but did not have any result.
I made sure that all of the devices are not muted.
